Inner Hoe Uprising: A Podcast Review

inner hoe uprising

Meow there! How have you been getting through the pandemic? Like most people, I’ve felt lonely and miss friends, and also have taken a liking to podcasts. One of my favorites is Inner Hoe Uprising. It’s funny and educational, and blacky black… yes, I know what I typed. It’s made me feel less lonely and less misunderstood during these trying times.

Hosts Sam, Rob, Akua, and Rebecca make you feel like you’re all already friends who haven’t met yet. Taking a deep dive with them brings you into a world of dating, polyamory, mental health, and sex, while they make their way in New York City. From episodes titled “My Pussy Knows Better” to “Ya Don’t Gotta Go to College to Get More Knowledge,” you’re guaranteed transparent and open conversations about a slew of important topics. I’ve been a listener for over a year now and I love this podcast because I have a true love for the hosts. They take the time to hear and respond to their followers. Holding online hangouts and movie parties, they continue to get people talking about things that matter and encourage them to get involved.

How bad are things right now and how did it get this way? What secret prejudices do you hold against others? Is there a awkward sex question you probably asked yourself a hundred times? Sam, Rob, Akua, and Rebecca create a safe space for you to bring it all out. This podcast gives a platform to a message that’s invaluable to us at Tofu Kitten Club and hopefully you too. They are making the world a more kinder, understanding place.
